"From the outside, Salty’s has the air of an elite yacht club, and the menu prices certainly put it in the “fancy” side of the seafood restaurant spectrum. But fancy isn’t the same as inaccessible, and the airy Salty’s dining room is full of fun, eclectic artwork and fastidiously friendly servers. The decadent menu is filled with seaside classics, and each one comes out of the kitchen impeccably plated. The raw oysters are cartoonishly plump, and the crab mac and cheese is essentially a liquified crab melt adorned with macaroni. The happy hour is also one of the best around, including some playful additions like crab nachos and “adult Lunchables” at a fraction of dinner service prices." - Ben Coleman
