"This winter the Seattle Christmas Market returns to Seattle Center from November 21 to December 24, offering gifts ranging from leather goods to chocolates and a wide array of food and drink vendors selling traditional European goodies like raclette, spätzle, and glühwein. There's also Santa’s Snow Globe for photos with Santa (not the real Santa) and a Fairy Tale Forest. Tickets are on sale now for $15 each (kids under six are free) with prices set to rise as the season approaches; while some complained about paying to enter, I note that there will be live music and a double-decker carousel that’s free to ride." - Harry Cheadle
