"Opening Tuesday, February 6 at 1480 Highway 20 West in McDonough, this Alabama-born barbecue restaurant is the chain's eighth Georgia location and will hold a public ribbon-cutting with the Henry County Chamber of Commerce at 10:15 a.m. before doors officially open. Founded 32 years ago in Birmingham by father-and-son duo Jim and Nick Pihakis, the concept is known for smoked and barbecued meats dressed with Eastern Carolina vinegar and Alabama white sauces and for its signature cheese biscuits. The brand already operates multiple Georgia locations (Acworth, Hiram, Smyrna, Cumming, Suwanee, Lawrenceville and Conyers) and additional restaurants across Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and three locations in Denver, Colorado. Regular hours for the McDonough restaurant will be Sunday–Thursday 11:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 11:00 a.m.–10:30 p.m." - Beth McKibben
