"This Weatherford-area station is running a limited three-week test of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich created by Fort Worth chef Tim Love. The sandwich uses organic peanut butter and grape jelly on white potato bread and is being positioned as a relatively healthier, chef-crafted alternative to typical convenience-store fare. It’s priced at $3, or $4 bundled with a bag of Lay’s kettle chips. The offering is part of a broader partnership announced last year to bring chef-created items to gas-station diners; if the trial succeeds, the sandwich and other items would be rolled out to additional locations." - Amy McCarthy
