Floodwater, a New Gastropub in Mill Valley, Will Serve Jewish Deli Favorites | Eater SF

"Opening November 29 in Mill Valley, Floodwater is the newest venture from some of the teams behind Buckeye Roadhouse and Fog City, taking over the former Frantoio Ristorante space at 152 Shoreline Highway. The concept centers on gastropub fare using local, seasonal ingredients, and marks a comeback for chef Michael Siegel; the menu pairs typical pub items like chicken wings, stone oven pizza, and burgers with Jewish deli standards such as chicken matzo ball soup and a “Shorty’s Reuben” made with Snake River Farms corned beef. Julian Cox—known from the Tartine Manufactory opening team—has created the cocktail menu, the bar will feature eight wines on tap plus local craft beers by draft and bottle and an extensive wine list, and the restaurant will be one of the few in the area open until midnight every night (Mon–Fri 5 p.m.–midnight; Sat–Sun 10 a.m.–midnight) with a limited late-night menu from 10 p.m. to midnight.
