EGGscellent opens with breakfast and lunch menu | Eater Vegas

"A newcomer that took over a long-shuttered eastside Filipino spot in the Francisco Center near La Bonita Supermarket and the Eastern Avenue/Desert Inn Road intersection, this roomy 3,200-square-foot breakfast-and-lunch café serves a locally inspired take on familiar morning favorites. The full menu, with most items priced under $10.99, is available daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Breakfast offerings include croissant-style or stuffed French toast, a Monte Cristo sandwich, omelets and a “Rebel Scramble” made with chorizo, poblano peppers and cheddar jack. Standouts highlighted on the menu are the $10 “Red Rock Benny” with bacon, spinach and poached eggs, and the “Hoodoo Hash,” which combines brisket, sweet potato and the house “EGGcelent Hollandaise Sauce.” Lunch features sandwiches served on Texas toast, brioche or tortillas, along with burgers, salads and homemade chili." - Bradley Martin
