"As the flagship overseen by James Beard Rising Star AJ Voytko in the new downtown hotel's dining lineup, I found Terrane Italian Kitchen + Bar offers Italian-twisted breakfasts (porchetta and broccoli rabe hash; polenta pancakes topped with amaretti crumbles; eggs baked in marinara finished with grana padano), economical pasta lunches (full orders $15, half-orders $8) including pappardelle with “mama’s ragu,” beet fettuccini with goat cheese and arugula, and a garganelli with carbonara prosciutto and peas, plus seconds such as a chicken leg with polenta and wild mushrooms and a hanger steak with parmesan gratin.
