"Normally selling its greens, garlic, and other vegetables to chefs through the Portland State University farmers market, I learned that owners Lucie Gouin and Art Poulos were pessimistic about the spring season with so many restaurants closed and lower foot traffic; In The Weeds has given them a renewed sense of purpose, and Poulos says, “Uncertainty is difficult to deal with, because we don’t know what all this work will result in.
