"Now in its tenth year, Hogs For The Cause returns Friday and Saturday, March 23–24 at the East Campus of the University of New Orleans Lakefront Arena Grounds with an enormous lineup of music, drinks, barbecue and bacon from 85 teams, all to benefit the families of kids with pediatric brain cancer. RFID wristbands have replaced the old wooden Hoggy Dollars for faster, cashless food and drink purchases (swap your ticket for a wristband early at Urban South Brewery on Wednesday, March 21 at 5 p.m.; bracelets can be reloaded online or at on-site top-up stations). Expect more shade with two new tents, an expanded Kids’ Zone, a full music lineup, maps and FAQs online, and a range of ticket options from single-day general admission ($25/day or $49 for two days) to Boss Hog VIPs ($199/day or $349 for two days) with pre-loaded wristband, free booze in the VIP tent, private bathrooms and front-of-stage viewing; Judges Passes ($50/day), Side Stage Passes ($500/day) and free entry for kids under 12 are also available.
