Chef Dominick Lee to Open Augustine’s Creole Restaurant in Houston | Eater Houston

"A forthcoming Creole restaurant inside a boutique Riverside Terrace hotel, led by chef Dominick Lee, an Art Institute of Houston graduate who studied Creole derivatives in Europe and has framed his approach as “Progressive Creole.” Slated to open in the fall, the kitchen’s revealed dishes in press photos include New Orleans–style barbecue shrimp, bananas foster, and a range of seafood and pasta offerings. The venue is offering ticketed preview dinners in February: a Mardi Gras–themed five-course tasting (Feb 10–11) sold as paired tickets for $195, and a Black History Month collaborative four- or five-course dinner with Chef Martin Draluck of Black Pot Supper Club (Feb 16–17) at $225 per ticket.
