The Grove Is Opening at the Interlock on Howell Mill Road in Westside - Eater Atlanta
"Slater Hospitality, the group behind Ponce City Market’s Nine Mile Station, Skyline Park, and tower cocktail bar and gaming room RFD Social, is opening a 12,000-square-foot restaurant and outdoor bar called The Grove on the roof of The Interlock. The complex is the latest mixed-use behemoth set to begin construction in Westside and should open in 2020 at the traffic-choked intersection of 14th Street and Howell Mill Road. The Grove hopes to be the area’s “rooftop oasis.” It’s unclear what type of cuisine will be offered at the Grove or if diners will need to pay an entrance fee to gain access to the roof as they do at Ponce City Market. A representative speaking for real estate developer S.J. Collins Enterprises and Slater Hospitality says the restaurant and bar will be open to the public. Regardless of how people gain access to the roof, once up there, the one acre “oasis” will include unhindered views of a substantial portion of the Atlanta skyline from Buckhead to downtown." - Beth McKibben
