A reimagining of the longtime local establishment that shuttered at the start of 2024 after a 16-year run; Detroit businessman Jay Farner (Ronin Capital Partners) is leading the project. The space will be renamed and relaunched as an oyster bar and eatery with executive chef Nick Geftos (who also heads the kitchen at BESA Detroit) tapped to lead the kitchen. Farner has purchased the adjoining property and will join it to the restaurant via a shared back patio; that adjoining space will become an as-yet unnamed casual cafe to be led by pastry chef Christine Anschuetz.
