"Historic carriage house-turned-restaurant Iron Gate rings in 11 years under Neighborhood Restaurant Group. To mark the occasion, the group installed heaters, restored the foundation, and installed a retractable awning to upgrade the space from 2013. All that hard work has paid off, with plenty of favorable reviews and local celebrity sightings at the romantic spot known for Mediterranean and Greek fare. Throwback dishes are on Iron Gate’s dinner menu until November 23, before a ticketed event to celebrate the anniversary on November 24. A variety of food and cocktail stations will highlight diner favorites like whole roasted lamb with pita and Greek potatoes, cheeses and charcuterie, gnocchi and spiced pork ragu, mushroom carbonara, and seafood giouvesti. If you’re still hungry for something sweet, mini budinos and loukomades will be fried to order for dessert. The early dinner lasts from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and tickets ($95) are available on Opentable." - Emily Venezky
