"Opening July 10 in the Pearl District, this Moroccan-tile-lined cocktail lounge will pair tamarind whiskey sours and tropical-twisted cocktails with sweet and savory crepes. Owner Ramzy Hattar (also behind River Pig) assembled a drinks team led by Davide Bricca (an Oven & Shaker alum) with Lightning Bar Collective vet Quinn Matthews, and an early menu features cocktails like the Fidelity (Plantation pineapple rum and banana liqueur), the Nilsson (Don Julio Blanco and coconut crème), and two slushies including a piña colada. Chef Monkey (Naira Ayvazyan) created a crepe-and-salad menu drawing on her Armenian roots and trips to Morocco; highlights include the Cinnamon Sunset crepe—filled with feta and goat cheese, roasted oranges, cinnamon, and walnuts—and the savory Jazzve crepe with lightly seasoned chicken, mushrooms, and mozzarella, plus colorful salads studded with cherry tomatoes and oranges. The interior will combine Moroccan and Spanish tile, brass fixtures, and Moroccan lanterns, with Moroccan R&B and international rap (the owner cited French rapper L'Algérino) setting a "cool, sexy" mood for drinks with a friend or a date." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
