"While a relative newcomer to the downtown dining scene, Peridot has established itself as a night-out destination for high-end, Vietnamese-influenced cuisine, creative cocktails, and a chic atmosphere, complete with mood lighting and a contemporary soundtrack. Peridot’s version of the classic green papaya salad comes with salty slivers of beef jerky, and the tangy ketchup-fried rice, inspired by one of the executive chefs and owner Duc Tang’s beloved childhood dishes, does indeed spark childlike glee.
