Ci Siamo, Danny Meyer’s Latest Italian Restaurant, Set to Open in September - Eater NY

"Danny Meyer is gearing up to open his first new New York City restaurant in close to three years. Ci Siamo, an Italian-leaning restaurant and bar, is set to open at Manhattan West, a multi-million dollar development located at 100 Manhattan West Plaza, near Hudson Yards, this September. The restaurant, so-named for an Italian expression meaning “We’ve made it” or “We’re good to go,” is the first new concept from Union Square Hospitality Group since the opening of Manhatta in the Financial District in 2018. Details about Ci Siamo are still scarce, but the Times reports there’s seating for up to 160 people at full-capacity, with tables spread across an indoor dining room, an outdoor terrace, and a bar and lounge. Chef Hillary Sterling, formerly of Vic’s in Noho and the now-closed A Voce in the Flatiron District, is heading the kitchen. The menu will reportedly include pastas, while a wood-fired grill will be used to prepare chicken, seafood, and vegetable dishes." - Luke Fortney
