"Frenchy’s Naturel, a French restaurant located at 1337 11th Street NW in Logan Circle, Washington, D.C., will close permanently on Sunday, July 28, after being open for about six months. The restaurant was part of the EatWell DC group, which attempted to revitalize the space previously occupied by The Bird. Despite a well-received brunch service, the dinner service did not gain traction. Frenchy’s offered a menu with affordable entrees by executive chef Eric McKamey, who specializes in French cuisine. The venue featured a retooled beverage program heavy on French spirits and classic cocktails, and the interior was designed to resemble a quaint French cottage. All 25 staff members have been offered positions at other restaurants within the EatWell DC group." - Tierney Plumb
