"The Minnesota Health Department has linked 10 cases of E. coli to hamburgers eaten at local Red Cow restaurants and one case to downtown Minneapolis’s Hen House Eatery, the Star Tribune reports. The cases originated from meals eaten between Thursday, October 31, and Thursday, November 7; two people were hospitalized. Per the Strib, both restaurants are “fully cooperating” with the MHD’s investigation. Red Cow addressed the incident in a post on Instagram, writing that it had taken “immediate action” to remove the ground beef from its restaurants and cut the producer out of its supply chain." - Justine Jones
