"From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve, this spiffy new restaurant in Union Station’s Limelight hotel will augment its regular menu of contemporary American fare — don’t miss the sea scallop udon with Dungeness crab, fermented black radish, and macadamias in mushroom-shoyu broth — with a few specials to mark the occasion. From noon to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day, it will go all out with a three-course prix fixe, featuring appetizers such as coal-fired oysters or ember-roasted wild mushrooms with garlic confit, black garlic molasses, and rice crackers; entrees like truffled chicken ballotine or mokum carrot cannelloni; and butternut squash pie, pear tatin, or white chocolate cheesecake for dessert (the meal runs for $115 per adult, $35 per child under 12)." - Eater Staff
