"There will be a new speakeasy in Austin with the debut of cocktail bar Here Nor There, found somewhere at an undisclosed address in downtown opening sometime relatively soon this summer. Alas, once it opens, the bar is a members-only venue. Here Nor There’s cocktail menu looks to explore global flavors. This means drinks like the Tropic Thunder, which makes use of mango, kaffir lime, and spicy Thai herbs and spices; the fanciful From Russia With Love, which comes with champagne, caviar, and a gold leaf; or the Shake What Umami Gave Ye, made with Japanese pear and umeshu.
