"The original location of the world-famous coffee and beignet shop reopened Friday for the first time since March, drawing a line of loyal customers on Decatur Street. For now, it’s open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a new service counter to take orders and about 20 tables on its pavilion for outdoor dining, according to NOLA.com. Cafe du Monde plans to expand hours in the city’s second phase of reopening." - Clair Lorell
