"Planned as an LGBTQ pop-up run by Ella Webber and their partner Kalale, this short-term venue was meant to take over the St-Laurent premises and serve as a hybrid space for food, drinks, and dedicated queer community events; Webber said they "literally ran in last week and scrubbed the place and were like 'let's go.'" The pop-up aimed to fill a gap left by closed or reduced-capacity queer venues, offering drag nights (one scheduled for March 22), weekly karaoke, themed cabaret/masquerade events, a full menu of hot sandwiches by later in March (with fries until then), and a drink program of natural beers and wines alongside cheaper options to keep things affordable. It was slated to open at 6568 St-Laurent (Thu–Sat, 7 p.m.–3 a.m.), but an update on March 7 reported the pop-up has since been canceled." - Tim Forster
