"Set to open at 112 NE 41st Street, El Club will be a 15,000-square-foot, members-only club featuring a lounge, bar and food, and I learned it was designed by James Beard award-winning architect and interior designer Alejandro Barrios Carrero. A private seventh-floor entrance will lead members to the main bar and lounge, which will include wood-painted walls, colorful banquettes, marble-top tables, and paintings and murals of horses from the original Le Club; floor-to-ceiling windows will open onto an outdoor terrace overlooking the surrounding neighborhood.
