The Best Kid-Friendly Houston Restaurants

"There are kid-friendly restaurants, and then there are kid-focused restaurants, like this one. Current owners Bill and Cindy Lillard operate the restaurant in memory of their son, Bobby, who died of a rare disease at 8 years old, with proceeds benefiting Texas Children’s Hospital and other local organizations. Entertainment is endless at this quaint neighborhood spot, which houses an iPad station, a candy counter spilling over with sweet treats, a photo booth, and an arcade. Kids aren’t the only ones having fun, though. Adults are treated to complimentary wine, beer, or margaritas. And to make it even more feel-good — a portion of the restaurant’s proceeds goes to Texas Children’s Hospital." - Brianna Griff, Brittany Britto Garley
