"The permanent incarnation of a former pop-up at Uptown Social that pays homage to New York bodegas with subway tiles, a “Post No Bills” graffiti wall by the same artist behind the surfboards, and a decorative shelf of dried goods. Alec Gropman designed a menu focused on classic NYC fare like a bacon, egg, and cheese on a hard roll and a chopped cheese sandwich. An extensive coffee program from Dustin Mattson uses Counter Culture beans, and a full bar provides brunch-friendly cocktails such as bloody marys. The spot is open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m." - Erin Perkins
