Midtown Korean Crowdpleaser Danji Will Reopen in November - Eater NY

"Italian-leaning Casa Tua, the celebrity scenester spot from Miky and Leticia Grendene, first debuted in Miami Beach in 2001. Following an expansion to Aspen and Paris, it’s opening a new location at the Surrey hotel (20 E. 76th Street, at Madison Avenue) today. Reservations for the restaurant are open starting Friday via SevenRooms. Like the Taylor Swift-frequented Corner Store, there’s a dress code: “smart and elegant,” no “casual hats, ripped denim, crop tops, nightwear, swimwear, or sleeveless shirts for men.” Also: no shorts or flip-flops after 4 p.m. and no tracksuits. Jackets are encouraged. On top of that? “Please note that management reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding entry.” Fancy people need not fraternize with riff raff at its members club, where membership is $4,300, with a $1,600 initiation fee for the New York club only; global memberships and “under 34” rates also available." - Melissa McCart
