Where to Eat Sushi Right Now in San Diego

"At Komatsuya, the goal is to serve honmamon, or authentic and “real” flavors. The omakase menu at this low-key restaurant in Mission Hills includes sushi and sashimi but also a good number of cooked dishes featuring meat and seafood. The eight-course omakase meal is $125 and diners can pregame with hot or cold appetizers, in addition to the sushi, such as chicken karaage or Japanese fried chicken and roasted duck seasoned with yuzu pepper sauce best paired with beer, sake, and natural wine." - Roxana Becerril
