"Chicago’s Filipino community has been loud in recent years, and a merry band of Fil-Am folks from Cleveland decided it was a good spot to open the first of possibly many restaurants. Mano Modern Cafe in West Town is a tight spot with a nice variety of espresso drinks. The breakfast sandwiches some on pan de sal with fried egg, American cheese, and “pinoy bang bang sauce.” Customers have a choice of longanisa patty, tocino bacon (!!!), chorizo, or spam." - Ashok Selvam
