"When it comes to soup season, Workman’s is the place — or stew season, or fish n’ chips season, or Irish breakfast season. With a crackling fireplace in the back and flickering lanterns strewn about the space, the wooden booths feel like mini winter escapes in the cooler months. For the holidays, there’s green garland, red tinsel, small spruce trees draped throughout the tavern, and silky pints of Guinness perched on the bar top. Note that a Friday or Saturday night will welcome a bit more of a party crowd. Also note: The curry here is really good." - Kayleigh Ruller
