"This isn’t Williams’ first foray into restaurants in Atlanta. He opened soul food restaurant Chef’d Up at the Highland Walk Apartment complex in 2019 at the corner of Highland Avenue and Sampson Street, a space previously home to Last Word, Cast Iron, and The Barrelhouse. The restaurant closed a year later amid a rental dispute with Perennial Properties, the owner of Highland Walk Apartments. Highland Bistro replaced Chef’d Up in 2020." - Beth McKibben
