"Opening October 2, 2019 in Inman Square at 1193 Cambridge St., this family-run neighborhood restaurant is led by pastry chef Sarah Graham and chef Richard Graham III, who returned to the area after years in Chicago and Seattle and who have deep Cambridge roots. The team—including chef de cuisine Ilger Cakuli, who previously worked at the prior tenant—bought the former Tupelo space (which briefly hosted a Tex-Mex pop-up) and plans to focus on comforting, affordable New American cooking with a heavy emphasis on scratch preparations: house-made ketchup and sauces, ice cream, and hand-rolled pasta. Sample dishes highlight that approach and range from oven-roasted chicken with asparagus to romanesco with spiced almond, burrata, and red pepper purée, and trofie pasta with fried pork belly. The owners aim for a family- and wallet-friendly atmosphere; initial service will begin with a limited menu followed by a fuller opening, with dinner service planned Tuesday–Thursday 5:30–10:00 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 5:00–10:30 p.m., and potential brunch considered later." - Dana Hatic
