"I'm expecting Above Fifth, set atop the five-story AC San Rafael at 1201 Fifth Avenue, to open in mid-June as a casual rooftop bar with a seasonal cocktail program and a menu of small bites, some made using local products like Cowgirl Creamery cheese. The space will offer wide views of the surrounding area, including Mt. Tam, feature fire pits for cooler Bay Area evenings, be suited for happy hours and end-of-night drinks while also serving weekend brunch, and can be bought out for larger events; it is part of the Marriott-affiliated AC San Rafael, which also includes the brand’s AC Kitchen and an outpost of AC Lounge." - Lauren Saria
