"Slated to open on April 1 across from First Horizon Park (home of the Nashville Sounds), this new sports bar Third and Home occupies the top level of 919 Third Ave. N., a 7,000-square-foot space with a sprawling 1,500-square-foot patio that offers views of Sounds games. It's a collaboration between Sounds owner Frank Ward and Centerplate, and features a sports-centric design by Ward’s sons Chris and Tim and C.B. Ragland Co.’s Michael Hayes and Brandon Kuvara. The interior is outfitted with 28 65-inch televisions and three 260-inch screens so fans can watch regardless of weather; Third and Home will be open year-round, serve a range of regional and local brews plus popular liquors and wines, and will offer weekly promotions (to be announced in March) alongside a soon-to-be-finalized food and drink menu. Ward said his aim is to create "a unique destination that combines food and drink along with entertainment in the thriving Germantown neighborhood," and that the completion of Third and Home "brings our vision of the ballpark and surrounding areas full circle." - Audrey Carleton
