The Best Cake Slices in NYC, According to Food Baby

"This tiny shop in the East Village from Lucie Franc de Ferriere is one of those “viral” places to get a piece of cake. There is usually a line snaking out of the front door of the store, which can only comfortably fit five or six people inside at a time. The majestically tall and flower-topped cakes are her signature and the thing you should definitely try on a first visit. She also makes great cookies, raspberry cheesecake brownies, and just a good old-fashioned slice of chocolate cake with salted dark chocolate and espresso buttercream." - Mike Chau
