"An annual holiday French bistro pop-up, Bistro Remy, is running now through Saturday, December 20, with dinners featuring a five-course menu inspired by a trip owners Tracy Malechek-Ezekiel and Arjav Ezekiel took to Paris with their son, Remy. Dishes include warm gougeres stuffed with mornay (with the option to add Perigord black truffle for $24); brown butter cauliflower soup; salade verte with Banyuls vinaigrette, tarragon, and apples; housemade Toulouse sausage with potato puree; and wagyu boeuf Bourguignon braised in red Burgundy with pommes purée, with vegetarian options available upon request. Desserts include apple galette with vanilla soft serve and caramel; chocolate mousse topped with candied almonds and citrus; or brebirousse with baguette that’s described as oozy and cheesy. The prix fixe menu comes in at $79 per person, with an optional black truffle french fries addition at $32, and, as per usual for a dinner at Birdie’s, Bistro Remy is walk-ins only." - H.
