"After a decade of boozy brunches and more in the heart of Wicker Park, the mimosas stopped flowing at Lokal. The restaurant and lounge at 1904 W. North Avenue was a brunch destination before the neighborhood had many boozy daytime options. Serving “Euro-inspired comfort food,” it also was popular for DJ parties and late nights of drinks, as well as dinner services. It had been open since 2009.
