After Permit Dispute, Food Trucks Return to Truck Yard - Eater Houston
"Truck Yard, located in EaDo, Houston, is a popular venue for cold beer, frozen cocktails, and food truck fare. It opened last May at 2118 Lamar Street. Initially, the city of Houston's health department alleged that Truck Yard didn't have the correct permit for food trucks, an allegation the bar denied. The fire marshal also identified a fire hazard, which has been addressed. After six months, Truck Yard resolved these issues and can legally host food trucks, such as El Guajillo, Muiishi Markirritos, Twisted Catfish, Coreanos, Wokker, and Rich Boy Po Boys. Additionally, Truck Yard features a new private karaoke room, the “Karaoke Container,” accommodating up to 15 people and requiring an hourly drink minimum." - Alaena Hostetter
