Moberi Is Opening a New, Bigger Store on North Mississippi | Eater Portland

"I'm looking forward to Moberi's new, colorful and airy shop opening March 10 at 4220 N. Mississippi Avenue near Prost! and Olympia Oyster Bar; it will be the chain's largest location yet and will debut new smoothies, acai bowls, oatmeals, and kombucha on tap. The local chain began with founder Ryan Carpenter blending on bike-powered smoothie blenders and grew after a successful Kickstarter that funded the first brick-and-mortar about two years ago, and Carpenter says the Mississippi cafe will be their largest space yet and he's excited to see what everyone thinks of the customer experience. The cafe, designed with studio Always with Honor, features a vinyl mural of Mississippi Ave and a bike-powered USB charging station as a nod to those roots. I also note the brand is continuing to expand this summer into the George Besaw building alongside Pine State Biscuits and Life of Pie; the North Mississippi shop will celebrate its opening with free acai bowls from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m." - Alex Frane
