"Opening in late September in the recently shuttered Frosty Queen space on Chatsworth Street just east of White Oak Avenue, Goldburger Granada Hills will be the chain's third location and will feature about 30 indoor and 20 outdoor seats, a drive-thru, and more seating than the Highland Park and Los Feliz spots. Owner Allen Yelent, an SFV native who grew up in Chatsworth and attended Porter Middle School in Granada Hills, says he'll streamline the menu to be similar to a Goldburger, do everything in-house like an original, nostalgic burger stand, and is keeping some menu tweaks tight-lipped for now. The new store will offer classic milkshakes—chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, plus seasonal flavors—and a chocolate and vanilla soft-serve station with seasonal additions; eventually it will offer breakfast, including a breakfast burrito not available at its other locations, and operating hours will be similar to the Los Feliz location. The building will be revamped over the next few months and will get a new sign above the business." - Mona Holmes
