"Tanoreen, a trailblazing Palestinian restaurant that has been a staple of Bay Ridge for 26 years, is expanding for the first time. Rawia and Jumana Bishara, the mother-daughter owners, have opened a fast-casual version of Tanoreen at the Time Out Market food hall. Tanoreen has paved a path for a new wave of Palestinian restaurants that have since opened, including Qanoon in Chelsea, and several locations of Ayat and Al Badawi that have grown around the city." - Emma Orlow
