Breastaurant Bikinis Is Closing Its Last Sports Bar in Austin | Eater Austin

"At 214 East 6th Street, I visited the last remaining Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill in downtown Austin, which is closing on Sunday, December 23. Opened by Doug Guller in 2006 and once expanded to 14 locations across Texas, North Carolina, and Oklahoma (all of which later closed), the spot is known as a so-called "breastaurant"—notably for employees who wear swimsuit tops—and for its fun, easy-going Australian-coast-inspired vibe that mixes relaxation, drinking, food, sports, and girls. To mark the shutdown it is hosting a "12 Days of Bikinis" event running from Wednesday, December 12 through Sunday, December 23.
