"Opening October 1 at 414 SE 81st Avenue in Montavilla, I see Zuckercreme as a permanent space that walks the line between café, market, and pop-up incubator. Shelves will be stocked with ceramics and art from Oregon-based makers, the pastry café will feature treats made by Sigal and her regular bakers, and coffee drinks will use rotating Oregon roasters; like the pop-ups that inspired it, much of the menu and merchandise will change seasonally. Sigal plans to kick off a “Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice” series (including items such as Kabocha squash taiyaki from No More Raw Fish and biscuits and pumpkin butter from Biscuit Baby PDX), and the shop will host rotating pop-up bake sales, talks, and workshops to provide space and resources so micro-businesses can grow and make money." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
