"Opening later this month in the Berkeley Heights complex on Northside Drive, the Grecian Gyro will be the 37-year-old chain’s first location within the city of Atlanta and its seventh overall. I note it replaces Blue Coast Burritos in the shopping center just south of I‑75 in Berkeley Park; the Berkeley Park restaurant is double the size of the original Hapeville location and includes a market selling Greek beer and wine, olive oil, pasta, feta cheese, and Izzy’s European Ice Kreme (a Greek-style ice cream). Diners can also order hot-fudge or Nutella sundaes and banana splits. Founded by Nick Koulouris in Hapeville in 1982, Grecian Gyro serves gyros, salads, and Greek-style platters; other locations include Forest Park, Johns Creek, Dunwoody, Tucker, and Snellville. It will be open Monday–Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., at 1700 Northside Drive NW, Atlanta, and more information is available at greciangyro.com." - Beth McKibben
