"After being acquired by The Pit Room owner Michael Sambrooks's restaurant company, Lee's Fried Chicken and Donuts is getting a slightly different name. Now called Sam's Fried Chicken and Donuts, the popular Heights destination for breakfast and fried chicken will serve sides like mac and cheese and potato salad from The Pit Room, along with new dishes (think biscuits and gravy and breakfast sandwiches on challah buns) developed by chef Lyle Bento. The new name (and menu) officially debuts on December 14. [EaterWire]" - Amy McCarthy
