"Downtown LA’s newest restaurant is Denae’s, a modern interpretation of a classic Los Angeles diner tucked into the recently opened Delphi Hotel; it will act as the central full-service restaurant for the property when it formally opens. Open from breakfast through dinner with breakfast all day, the menu aims to be do-it-all for travelers, Downtown workers, and locals, with breakfast offerings like a Denae’s slam (eggs, home fries, breakfast meat of choice, and toast), casual lunch choices such as fish tacos, a turkey club, and a fried chicken sandwich, salads and sandwiches, dinner mains like chicken pie, and actual sweet pies for dessert (hopefully spinning under lights in a glass case). There’s coffee at breakfast, milkshakes available all day, cocktails at night, and the space pairs serious retro ambience with modern hotel service: booths, two-tops, and bar seating beneath a lit marquee bearing the Denae’s name and logo, sturdy mugs rather than chipped Formica, daily hours from 6:30 a.m. to midnight, and reservations available via Resy." - Farley Elliott
