Taystee’s Burgers is expanding into franchising its gas station food business model | Eater Detroit

"I’ve followed Taystee’s Burgers since its humble 2014 start inside a BP station at 10419 Ford Rd. in Dearborn, and I’ve watched it grow into an award-winning, halal-friendly spot known for highly stacked creations like the Notch-Yo-Burger—a behemoth of beef bacon, nacho cheese Doritos, pepper jack, Swiss, American, jalapeño, grilled onions, lettuce, and tomato—that won Detroit’s Best Burger at the 2016 Detroit Burger Brawl.
