"An intimate 50-seat outpost of the long-running Montecito, California original, this Soho spot is decorated with a 1950s Cuban dance hall mural and aims to be a neighborhood place with starters, salads, a reasonably priced daily special, steaks, chops, and a long list of sides. A standout is the seasonal mushroom steak ($28), for example oyster mushrooms served on a bed of a flavorful sauce made with ginger, tahini, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar.
