"Elliot Nelson, founder of the McNellie’s Group, opened Bull in the Alley as a semi-secret. The speakeasy is indeed difficult to find, tucked away in a dark, brick-lined alley, set across from a smelly dumpster, and hidden behind a discreet green door. Once inside, guests are transported to an entirely different scene. A low-lit bar anchors the center of the space and plush, high-backed booths line the perimeter, each with a starburst pendant light hovering above. Often, a piano player is tickling keys off to the side. The drink menu is extensive, meaning you’ve got lots of options to pair with your steak, the go-to on the limited menu, whether you prefer a petite filet or want to tackle the table steak. You’ll want to add the spaghetti as a shareable side too." - Jess Brent
