Austin Mexican Restaurant Curra’s Is Opening in Hyde Park | Eater Austin

"A South Austin Mexican restaurant originally opened on East Oltorf in 1995 by brothers Jorge and Marco Garcia is expanding with a second Hyde Park location at 4215 Duval Street, slated to open in spring (March or April). The move responds to strong neighborhood demand and will allow Daylon Garcia to oversee the new venture; the restaurant plans to broaden its customer base while keeping operations local. Notably, the Hyde Park spot will launch a proprietary golf-cart delivery service for Hyde Park and Hancock—eschewing third-party platforms—with an ice chest for to-go margaritas and a hot box for food. The new location will offer the regular menu (mole, cochinita pibil, carnitas, enchiladas, tacos, and avocado margaritas) plus a new Tia’s Menu of family-recipe specials such as bacalao, chicken tinga, and scallops aguachile.
