"I’m looking forward to a new restaurant a few blocks south of Koreatown at 110 Madison Ave., near East 29th Street: from Hand Hospitality, On will offer pan-regional Asian food and specialize in modern, seasonal jeongol, a Korean-style communal hot pot in which broth is poured over raw meats and vegetables in a shallow bowl and cooked at the table with broth added to the stew throughout the meal; its courses will be inspired by areas across Asia and the restaurant will go all in on the hot pot format rather than pairing jeongol with other small plates.
